The experience we provide is highly personalised and intentionally intimate. Unlike large corporate operators offering standardised packages with random staff members, Elope With Us consists of myself a few core crew. This creates a genuine and tailored experience for each couple. Throughout the voyage, you will spend significant time with myself and the crew, allowing for a relaxed and familiar atmosphere that feels more like sailing with friends than being hosted by staff.

Whitehaven Beach is one of the most sought-after wedding locations in the region; however, ceremonies can be held at a wide range of secluded coves, beaches, and protected anchorages throughout the Whitsundays. Please note that final location selection is always subject to weather and sea conditions, with suitable sites determined in accordance with the wind direction and conditions on the day to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Please note that Hayman Island, Hamilton Island, and Daydream Island each operate their own dedicated wedding teams and venue-specific wedding packages. If you are considering one of these island resorts for your ceremony, we recommend contacting the resort directly to discuss their wedding options and arrangements.

Alternatively, another option is to have your ceremony on a secluded beach or within one of the beautiful bays throughout the Whitsundays, & then finish the day at Hamilton Island resort to enjoy a romantic dinner and begin your honeymoon experience.

Yes absolutely. I have worked with Stacie, our photographer over several years & she is familiar with boats & the voyage, however, if you have your own photographer in mind, please put me in touch with them so that I can explain the voyage in as much detail as possible so that they know what to expect.

No, the photographer & the crew members can be your witnesses. If you do choose to bring 2 witnesses along, there is a higher fee for this option.

No, the witnesses can disembark the day after your wedding ceremony. We will drop them back at Hamilton Island Marina. Please note that this will affect the beaches & areas that we will be able to access in the 5 days that we have on the vessel, but we will still be able to take you to equally breathtaking locations.

The boat will be held for you for 48 hours before payment. From then, 40% deposit is required to secure the boat & the date. The remaining payment is due 100 days prior to the charter start date. You can pay by bank transfer of WISE if sending money from overseas.

The fun starts! I will send you some legal paperwork & will be available for any questions you have regarding that, or anything else to do with the trip.

I will also send you some questions to fill out individually, about your relationship & the each other. I will use these answers to build an “about you” section in your ceremony, which you wont hear until the day, as a surprise. This is completely optional so if you dont wish to answer some or all of the questions, there is no pressure to.

I will also discuss what kind of vibe you’d like your ceremony to have (funny, emotional, lighearted, quick) & I will send you a draft of the ceremony sections, explaining which parts are legal & which parts are optional, as well as giving you various options for vows etc.

Stacie, the photographer will also get in contact with you, to discuss your vision for your wedding photos & the options that she offers.

Try and pack all your essentials in soft bags as these are much easier to stow on board.

I will send you the forms that need to be filled out. These need to be returned at least 1 month before the wedding date. They also need to be witnessed by an approved witness (varies depending on if in Australia or overseas but listed on the forms).

You will also need to show copies of your passport or drivers license & birth certificate.

There is Wifi & Phone reception at Airlie beach, & at Hamilton Island, but often around the islands there will not be either.

If you need Wifi for the duration of the charter, this can be arranged for $350.
